Life presents us with many invisible barriers. We often don't know what we're up against until we've somehow managed to work past them and have had time to look back and reflect.
Many of those obstacles are systemic, put in place by those in power to maintain their position or bias. But sometimes they stem from our own fears, self-criticism, guilt or shame.
These internal barriers aren't any easier to get through and require a lot of work and determination. But when we do get past them, it feels victorious, like shedding a heavy weight that's been keeping us down and dimming our light. That feeling is what this design means to me, so I'm calling it "Breakthrough."
