Some people say "never look back," as in live with no regrets. But I think we should always reflect on life to learn from our mistakes, remember our triumphs, laugh at ourselves, appreciate those who have extended kindness and consider our own character.
I realize so much about myself from thinking about where I've been and how I arrived at this place in my history. That's what I was reflecting on when I designed and made this quilt, so I've called it "Looking back."
